Razer has announced the Kraken Kitty V3, a wired RGB headset for streamers who want their gear to show their style and engage their community. It builds on the Kraken Kitty line, and its stream-reactive kitty ears and earcups, powered by Razer Chroma RGB, are the main design feature. The headset also includes the Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic and immersive audio. Razer says it is designed to move from streaming setup to cosplay accessory.

The headset uses plug-and-play USB Type-C connectivity for compatible PC and mobile devices, so creators can get connected and go live in seconds. Hybrid fabric and leatherette ear cushions are meant to provide lasting comfort and passive noise isolation, helping streamers stay focused through extended gaming sessions, livestreams, and community interactions.

Personalized Lighting On and Off Stream

The Kraken Kitty V3 offers 16.8 million colors through Razer Chroma RGB, so creators can personalize its illuminated ears and earcups to reflect their personality, aesthetic, or on-stream persona. Through Razer's Streamer Companion app, the lighting can react to alerts, emotes, and chat activity, turning audience interactions into dynamic visual expressions of a creator's community.

Razer also points to use away from the desk. By connecting the fixed USB Type-C cable to a portable power bank, users can keep the RGB lighting illuminated at conventions, cosplay gatherings, and community events. Three onboard lighting presets make it easy to switch colors and effects on the go, helping users match a character, outfit, mood, or moment.

Voice Capture and Immersive Audio

The Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic prioritizes clear voice capture while minimizing background noise, helping creators stay heard during streams, voice chats, and community interactions.

The headset is paired with Razer TriForce 40 mm Drivers, which Razer describes as a proprietary three-part driver engineered for clearer, more detailed audio. Razer says this delivers enhanced sound separation, making it easier to distinguish in-game alerts, voice communications, and background audio. Combined with 7.1 Surround Sound, the headset provides immersive positional awareness for what Razer calls a more accurate gaming experience.
