Razer has announced the Razer Mako, a new line of compact desktop gaming speakers designed to deliver fuller sound, deeper bass, and Razer Chroma RGB lighting. The line includes two models: Mako for gamers wanting maximum presence with a dedicated subwoofer, and Mako X for those seeking a more compact footprint.

The Mako line is our answer to gamers who want room-filling sound in a compact footprint. Every part of it is built around that idea. Custom-tuned full-range drivers and room-filling bass give games, music, and movies real weight, 7.1 virtual surround sound opens up the soundstage, and Razer Chroma RGB extends lighting beyond the speakers to bring the whole battlestation to life.

Mako: Brilliant Vibes. Expansive Sound.

The Mako pairs custom-tuned 2.75-inch full-range drivers with a dedicated forward-firing 3.5-inch subwoofer in a 2.1-channel configuration, delivering 40W RMS and 60W peak output[1] with a frequency response reaching down to 45 Hz.

An angled desktop design projects sound toward ear level, while 7.1 virtual surround sound widens the soundstage into a 3D sound experience. Rear-Projection Razer Chroma RGB casts rich, ambient color onto the wall behind the desk, with 16.8 million colors and reactive effects across more than 300 Chroma-integrated games.

Connectivity includes a single USB-C cable for power and audio, with higher output available when connected to a compatible 30W or higher USB-C power source. Bluetooth 5.3 and 3.5 mm serve as alternative connections.

Mako X: Compact Design. Room-Filling Sound.

The Mako X uses a 2.0-channel configuration with custom-tuned 2.75-inch full-range drivers paired with built-in passive radiators that extend low-end response, delivering up to 30W RMS and 45W peak output[2] with a frequency response reaching down to 60 Hz. It can run on standard USB power at up to 15W, with higher output available from a compatible 30W or higher USB-C power source.

Lighting takes a more subtle form with 10-zone Razer Chroma RGB underglow casting a soft glow beneath the speakers.
