Razer Base Station V3 Chroma Brings Intelligent Automation to the Gaming Desk

Razer's latest Base Station V3 Chroma transforms how gamers automate their battlestations. This smart RGB stand detects when you lift your headset and instantly switches lighting, audio, and launches your favorite games—then reverts everything when it returns. It's the kind of frictionless automation that separates a good setup from a truly intelligent one.

Razer announced the Base Station V3 Chroma, a smart RGB gaming headset stand with USB ports that automates battlestation setup through headset detection and custom profiles.

The standout feature is Seamless Headset Detection, which works with any headset compatible with Razer Synapse. When you lift the headset, a custom profile automatically switches Chroma RGB lighting, audio and mic inputs, launches games, triggers global shortcuts, and runs macros. Once the headset returns to the stand, everything reverts to the default setup with no manual intervention needed.

Custom profiles can be tailored to specific scenarios: a gaming profile that routes audio to the headset, launches a favorite game, and enables game-reactive lighting; a streaming profile that fires up broadcast software and switches to on-air lighting; or a movie profile that dims the setup for immersion.

The stand doubles as an audio, lighting, and connectivity hub with dual USB 3.1 ports for headset dongles and other devices. It features immersive virtual 7.1 surround sound through software enhancements, unlocking cinematic listening for any analog headset with realistic positional audio.

A 12-zone vertical RGB strip displays 16.8 million colors and a full suite of effects, syncing seamlessly across other Razer Chroma RGB peripherals, more than 300 games, and 500 devices from over 50 partners.
