Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and HUMAIN, a PIF company delivering full-stack artificial intelligence capabilities globally, today launched Horizon Ultra, a next-generation AI PC powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform, at LEAP 2026.
The device follows more than 12 months of design and development by HUMAIN with support from Qualcomm Technologies, focused on building personal computing centered on AI that runs directly on the device.
Platform Architecture and AI Capabilities
Horizon Ultra is designed to move sophisticated AI capabilities closer to the user. The first release runs Microsoft Windows, combining a familiar enterprise operating environment with hardware designed for AI. In 2027, HUMAIN will introduce HUMAIN OS, extending AI capabilities further into the personal computing layer.
At the center of Horizon Ultra is Snapdragon X2 Elite, featuring an 18-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, the Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. This architecture distributes workloads across specialized compute engines, enabling advanced AI models to run locally on the device while seamlessly extending to the cloud when additional scale, compute capacity, or services are required.
| Component | Specification |
|---|---|
| Platform | Snapdragon X2 Elite |
| CPU | 18-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU |
| GPU | Qualcomm Adreno GPU |
| NPU | Qualcomm Hexagon NPU |
By embedding dedicated AI processing in the PC, Horizon Ultra delivers faster and more responsive AI experiences while allowing sensitive data and selected workloads to remain on the device, supporting privacy and data sovereignty. It enables new possibilities across enterprise productivity, content creation, multimodal AI, and intelligent agents.
AI is rapidly emerging as the new interface for computing. As devices become increasingly capable of understanding user intent, we are entering an era of intelligent agents. In collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, HUMAIN has created Horizon Ultra, a platform for this next generation of computing. Powered by Snapdragon X2 Elite with an 18-core CPU, it seamlessly integrates advanced computing performance and on-device AI processing to deliver smarter workflows and more intuitive user experiences.
The PC is becoming an intelligence platform. For the past 12 months, HUMAIN and Qualcomm Technologies have been designing for that future by bringing CPU, GPU and NPU together so increasingly powerful AI can run directly on the device. Today at LEAP, we are showing what that future looks like. We begin by capitalizing on our partnership with Microsoft, and in 2027 we take the next step with HUMAIN OS. We are making intelligence native to the device, not simply something the device connects to.
Enterprise Integration and Full-Stack Approach
For enterprises, Horizon Ultra extends AI from centralized infrastructure to the employee endpoint. Local AI processing supports use cases where responsiveness, connectivity, privacy, or data-handling requirements make on-device execution valuable, while maintaining connection to enterprise and cloud AI environments.
Horizon Ultra is part of HUMAIN's broader full-stack approach to AI, spanning infrastructure, cloud and compute, data and models, and applications. Extending AI to the personal computing layer creates an environment where models and applications operate closer to users and their work.
The planned introduction of HUMAIN OS in 2027 represents the next phase of that roadmap, bringing HUMAIN's operating environment directly to Horizon Ultra and creating deeper integration between the device, its AI capabilities, and HUMAIN's wider technology platform.
Availability
AlFalak will serve as the sales and delivery partner for Horizon Ultra, supporting enterprise purchasing and fulfillment.
Following its unveiling at LEAP 2026, Horizon Ultra running Microsoft Windows will be available for enterprise purchase beginning September 20, 2026.
| Milestone | Date |
|---|---|
| Launch at LEAP | 2026 |
| Enterprise availability (Windows) | September 20, 2026 |
| HUMAIN OS introduction | 2027 |
The launch reflects a broader shift in personal computing as AI moves from being a software feature to becoming part of the device's underlying architecture. With dedicated AI processing embedded alongside CPU and GPU compute, the PC is evolving into a platform that runs intelligence, not just one that accesses it.
