MILPITAS, CA, September 08, 2026 – CORSAIR (Nasdaq: CRSR) announced worldwide availability of the TC80 gaming chair, designed for gamers, creators, and everyday users. The chair has undergone more than 30 durability and safety tests and meets BIFMA X5.1 and EN 1335 standards.

Durability Testing

The testing regimen includes drop load proof tests with 136kg (300lbs) dropped onto the seat center, backrest load tests applying 1,001N for one minute, forward overturning tests at 600N, rearward stability tests with 13 heavy discs, seating durability tests of 100,000 cycles with 57kg (126lbs) falling onto the seat, tilt mechanism tests of 300,000 cycles with 109kg (240lbs) at the seat center, armrest durability tests of 60,000 cycles with 400N per arm, and swivel tests of 120,000 cycles with 122kg (269lbs) applied at maximum and minimum heights.

Features and Design

The TC80 features a wide, flat seat with plush padding and breathable fabric upholstery with leatherette accents. A detachable neck pillow provides optional support, while self-leveling armrests maintain comfort during recline. A steel 5-star base, 50mm casters, and steel Class 4 gas lift provide stability.

The chair offers 100mm of height adjustment and reclines from 90° to 115°, with users able to lock the chair at their preferred angle. Adjustable recline tension allows customization, and the chair features quick and easy assembly.

The TC80 is available immediately in black fabric and leatherette finish from CORSAIR's authorized retailers and distributors and on the CORSAIR webstore. It joins the TC100 RELAXED and premium TC500 LUXE in CORSAIR's gaming chair lineup.
