Razer announced the Razer Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition, a wired gaming headset that adds physical sensation to gameplay through haptic feedback. Powered by Razer Sensa HD Haptics and integrated across more than 100 supported PC games, the headset transforms gameplay events and in-game audio into rich, layered tactile feedback—from the thunder of an explosion to the subtle cue of approaching footsteps.
How It Works
At the core is Razer Sensa HD Haptics, high-definition haptic technology that responds to intensity, duration, and position. A distant explosion feels distinctly different from a point-blank shot, and a footstep never feels like a grenade. In supported titles, every weapon, ability, and moment of tension carries its own feedback.
Two modes drive the experience. Dynamic Haptics applies game developer-authored effects mapped directly to key in-game events like weapons, abilities, and movement. Players can layer on Audio-to-Haptics (A2H), drawing on profiles Razer has tuned for specific titles. Authored effects take priority, while A2H fills in around them, ensuring immersion even when action goes off-script.

Audio and Comfort
The headset is equipped with Razer TriForce 40 mm Drivers, a proprietary 3-part design that separately tunes highs, mids, and lows for detailed audio. Advanced 7.1 Surround Sound provides realistic positional audio, while the Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic prioritizes vocal clarity and cuts background noise.
FlowKnit Memory Foam Cushions combine breathable fabric and plush cushioning for extended wear, and Razer Chroma RGB customization offers 16.8 million colors and dynamic lighting effects.
