Apple Releases Mac mini and Mac Studio With New M5, M6, and M5 Ultra Chips
Apple has officially launched its most powerful desktop lineup yet, introducing the Mac mini with M6 and M5 Pro chips alongside the all-new Mac Studio powered by M5 Max and M5 Ultra processors. These machines mark a significant leap in AI capabilities and performance, designed for everyone from creative professionals to everyday users seeking desktop computing that thinks alongside them.

Apple has launched new Mac mini and Mac Studio models, now available at Apple Store locations, on apple.com, and in the Apple Store app. The new machines bring significant performance upgrades and expanded AI capabilities.

The new Mac mini with M6 delivers 12x faster graphics, 2x faster storage, and 40 percent faster CPU performance compared to previous-generation models. Users will experience these gains across multitasking, agentic AI workflows, music production, and code compilation.

For professional users, Mac mini with M5 Pro offers greater performance for complex projects like video production and game development. It features an up-to-18-core CPU and an up-to-20-core GPU, with support for up to 64GB of unified memory and 307GB/s of memory bandwidth. Mac mini with M5 Pro starts at $1,699 ($1,599 for education).
Both models start with 16GB of unified memory, configurable up to 32GB (64GB for M5 Pro), and include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and upgraded 2.5Gb Ethernet, with a 10Gb option available. The base M6 model includes up to 170GB/s of memory bandwidth and brings up to 4x faster AI performance.
Mac Studio
Mac Studio, Apple's most powerful Mac, features M5 Max and the all-new M5 Ultra for demanding professional workloads. The new models deliver up to 4.3x faster AI performance, up to 1.8x faster graphics, and support for up to 512GB of unified memory in a compact, quiet design.

Software and Features
Both machines ship with macOS 27, which includes Siri AI—a more capable, personal assistant that draws on personal context to help users find information across messages, emails, and photos; answer questions on virtually any topic; and complete tasks across apps. Siri AI is integrated into Spotlight and systemwide context menus, and users can ask Siri about what's on their display using Visual Intelligence with a dedicated keyboard shortcut. The system also supports writing and editing with Siri across most text fields.
Apple Intelligence features are available in simplified and traditional Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Some features rely on server-side models and are subject to daily usage limits, which may vary by feature, request complexity, and system demand. Expanded access to such features will be available for a fee in the future. Siri AI is rolling out in beta in macOS 27 and will not be initially available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS.

Trade-In and Financing: Customers can trade in their current computer at apple.com/shop/trade-in. Those in the U.S. with an Apple Card can also use Apple Card Monthly Installments (0 percent APR).
Apple Upgrade: Eligible U.S. customers can lease Mac Studio for 24 or 36 months. Lease prices start at $48.99 per month for Mac Studio with M5 Max (36-month lease, excluding taxes and trade-in credit) or $110.10 per month for Mac Studio with M5 Ultra. At lease end, eligible customers can upgrade to the latest generation, purchase the device with a one-time payment, or return it.
Shopping Support: On apple.com and in the Apple Store app, customers can receive personalized shopping assistance via chat and phone. Shop with a Specialist over Video offers a secure one-way video call to browse products with an Apple Specialist. After purchase, customers can use Personal Setup service for secure data transfer and feature orientation, available online or in-store.
Build to Order: Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Studio Display models offer configure-to-order options for chip, memory, storage, size, and display height.
Business Support: Apple's dedicated Business Team members are available in-store and online to assist small- and medium-sized businesses with product recommendations, bulk purchasing, setup, and ongoing support.

Availability and Pricing
Mac mini and Mac Studio begin arriving to customers starting today, September 22, at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers. Mac Studio with 512GB of unified memory will be available in late October.
