PlayStation Plus adds Dead Island 2 in November

The latest PlayStation Podcast episode, hosted by Sid, O'Dell, and Kristen, looks back at October's big games, a blast from the past, and what remains of the year. Along with the show's discussion, the episode covers a run of PS5 releases, in-game events, and November PlayStation Plus games.

The episode opens with next week's release highlights. Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered and Let's Sing 2027 both arrive on PS5 November 3. Void/Breaker follows on November 4, and Escape Academy 2: Back to School and Where The Seeds Fall both launch on PS5 November 5.

The show also covers several news items. Liberty Day was October 26 in the Helldivers universe, and players can now celebrate with Super Merch, which are real-world items that commemorate the occasion. Helldivers 2 also has a host of in-game events and items, such as the AR-23L Liberator Legacy. Where Winds Meet's new Hutuo narrative arc arrives November 13, bringing the historic battlefield into the story. Prepare to charge into a war-ravaged land, where new enemies, weapons, fighting techniques, and mini-games await. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 kicks off November 6 with new multiplayer stages, Backstab and Canyon, an undiscovered weapons facility in the DMZ, and a host of other updates across the entire game.

On the hardware side, three new transparent designs for DualSense controllers and PS5 console covers are coming February 4. They come in Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray, and pre-orders start November 10. The collection is called The Prism Collection.

The November PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup includes Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4), Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered (PS5, PS4), and Monster Train 2 (PS5).
