Meta is rolling out new podcast features on Threads, expanding tools for creators to share their shows and for listeners to engage in conversations around podcasts.

New Features for Creators

The new features include profile banners and post banners that help listeners more easily discover shows, and an episode picker that lets creators feature their favorite episode with podcast links appearing as tappable cards. Creators can now share standout moments and featured guests through transcript, video, and guest card posts.

Features for Listeners and Notifications

For listeners, Threads now offers the ability to save episodes from their feed so they don't lose track of content. Creators can opt in to automatic Threads notifications reminding them to share new episodes with their audience.

Podcast Insights

Podcast insights are also expanding. Analytics now show the reach and engagement Threads is driving for a podcast, including clicks and saves.

According to Meta, Threads is already becoming a place where people connect around podcasts, and these updates are designed to make joining those conversations easier.
