CORSAIR Drops the HS80 v2 MAX Wireless: 110-Hour Battery, Dual Connectivity, and Footstep-Focused Audio

CORSAIR has just unveiled the HS80 v2 MAX Wireless, bringing serious competitive upgrades, massive battery life, and dual-source connectivity to one of their most popular headset designs.

If you are looking to cut the cord without sacrificing competitive awareness, here is everything that actually matters for your setup:

Key Features at a Glance

• Acoustics Tuned for Competitive Play: Upgraded 50mm non-Newtonian laminate drivers help eliminate residual vibration after loud explosions or gunshots. That means subtle audio cues—like distant footsteps and reloads—stay crisp and audible mid-firefight. On PC, native Dolby Atmos spatial audio gives pinpoint 3D positional awareness.
• Simultaneous 2.4GHz + Bluetooth: Connect to your PC or console via ultra-low-latency 2.4GHz while keeping Bluetooth paired to your phone. You can game without missing Discord calls, phone alerts, or background music. Compatible with PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and mobile.
• Massive 110-Hour Battery Life: Lasts up to 110 hours over 2.4GHz wireless and 130 hours via Bluetooth (RGB off). Even with RGB lighting blazing, you get 65 to 80 hours. Need a quick top-up? A 15-minute fast charge delivers 6 hours of gameplay.
• Broadcast-Grade Mic + AI Noise Cancellation: Packs a 10mm broadcast capsule with an integrated pop filter and intuitive flip-to-mute functionality. PC players with GeForce RTX GPUs can utilize NVIDIA Broadcast integration via iCUE to wipe out mechanical keyboard clicks, fan noise, and background chatter.
• All-Day Comfort: Designed for marathon sessions with plush memory foam earcups wrapped in breathable fabric, a floating adjustable headband to distribute weight evenly, and a durable aluminum frame (370g).
• On-Ear Controls & iCUE Customization: Quick-access volume wheel, multifunction buttons, and dedicated Bluetooth controls right on the earcup, alongside full EQ and RGB personalization through CORSAIR iCUE.
